Short version: normally $1,000 buys 100 MH/s. Commit to taking your commissions as hash power for 3 months and each eligible commission buys 2× the hash. 6 months is 3×. 12 months is 4×. There is no cap on hash power you earn.
Why we'd rather you earned it
There's a limit on how much mining hash power you can buy. That limit has changed recently — see hash power purchase limits — but the philosophy behind it hasn't. We'd rather you earn hash power than buy it. That way the miners with the most hash power are the ones who did the most and worked the hardest to get it, not simply the ones who wrote the biggest cheque.
Every week: cash or hash
When you earn commission, you decide how it lands: paid out in cash (USDC) or rolled straight back into additional mining hash power. There is no limit on the amount of hash power you can earn this way.
Take it one step further: lock it in
Commit to taking your commission in hash power for a fixed period and we multiply what that money buys:
BOGO
3 month commitment
2×
$1,000 of commission → 200 MH/s
TROGO
6 month commitment
3×
$1,000 of commission → 300 MH/s
QUOGO
12 month commitment
4×
$1,000 of commission → 400 MH/s
The fine print
- A commitment is a commitment. For the length of the term, every eligible commission converts to hash power — not cash.
- The multiplier applies to eligible commissions earned during the term, at the standard hash price in effect at the time.
- Earned hash isn't capped. Purchase limits apply to hash power you buy with your own money, never to hash you earn.
- Hash awarded from a lock mines like any other hash — it counts toward your daily rewards from the day it's credited.
- When the term ends you choose again: cash, hash, or a fresh lock.
