Rewards

How your daily reward is calculated

Three numbers decide what lands in your wallet every morning. Here they are, with the math you can check yourself.

The formula

Your hash power ÷ total sold hash power × TXC the mine produced that day = your reward

That's it. No bonus multipliers, no hidden pool fee, no discretion. The same three numbers run for every miner, every day.

1. Your hash power

Every purchase adds MH/s to your account. Bonus hash — referral awards, promos, make-goods — counts exactly the same as purchased hash. Your total is the number shown on your dashboard, and it never decays.

2. Total sold hash power

This is the sum of every miner's hash power across the whole mine. It only goes up: as new miners join and existing miners buy more, the denominator grows. Your slice of the pie is your hash divided by this number.

In human

You own 500 MH/s. The mine has sold 2,000,000 MH/s. Your share is 500 ÷ 2,000,000 = 0.025% of everything the mine mines that day.

3. What the mine actually mined

Rewards are paid out of real production, not a promise. Each day we count the blocks the mine found on the TEXITcoin chain and the coins those blocks paid. Some days the mine gets lucky and finds more blocks than average; some days fewer. Difficulty and network hash rate move too. That's why your daily number wiggles even when nothing about your account changed.

Worked example

Your hash power ............ 500 MH/s

Total sold hash power ...... 2,000,000 MH/s

Your share ................. 0.025%

Mine produced today ........ 40,000 TXC

Your reward ................ 10.00 TXC

Why your reward shrinks over time

The chain's block output is roughly fixed. The mine's sold hash power is not — it grows every week. Same numerator, bigger denominator, smaller slice. If the mine doubles in size and you don't buy more hash, your daily reward roughly halves.

On top of that, TEXITcoin has scheduled halvings, which cut the coins per block. Both forces push the same direction: early hash is worth more coins than late hash, and the coins per MH/s you earn today will be higher than the coins per MH/s you earn a year from now.

In human

Nothing is being taken from you. Your percentage of the mine shrinks because other people joined. The only two ways to hold or grow your daily coin count are to buy more hash power, or for the mine's production to increase faster than its sold hash.

Why coins ≠ dollars

A shrinking coin count is not automatically a shrinking payday. The USD value of your reward is coins × price. A mine that grows tends to grow the network, the utility and the market for TXC. That's the bet — and we publish both curves so you can judge it for yourself instead of taking our word for it.

When it lands

Rewards are calculated once per day for the previous chain day, then paid to the TXC wallet on your profile. No wallet on file? Your rewards accrue in escrow and are released as soon as you add one — nothing is lost, it's just parked. Every run, including every transaction id, is public on the rewards page.

Live data

Average TXC reward per miner

Total TXC paid ÷ miners paid, against the mine's total sold hash power. This is the diminishing curve described above — measured, not modeled.
